Position Summary

The National Center of Primary Care is seeking a Communications Specialist II to manage our distance learning and social media activities. The individual is responsible for managing and coordinating activities associated with the webinar process, social media campaign and promotion, overseeing the management of the department’s website. Successful candidate will be able to work with a diverse group of professionals in a fast-paced, goal focused and deadline driven environment.
Coordinate and Manage Webinar Activities
• Manage the webinar schedule for the National Center for Primary Care and Programs
• Assist and coordinate webinar topic selection
• Working with project directors to identify speakers
• Coordinate the confirmation of the webinar speakers
• Work with speakers to ensure their presentations meet NCPC standards
• Coordinate and provide technical support for speakers prior to webinar
• Work with Office of Professional Education to secure CME credits for webinars
• Coordinate and execute all marketing associated with the webinar events
• Provide follow-up messages and maintain contact with webinar registrants
• Ensure all webinar promotional material and banners are posted website
• Work with administrative staff to coordinate the delivery of equipment to the speakers
• Create reports after each webinar, using registrant and event data to highlight key trends
• Moderate webinars to ensure fluent delivery of content for the webinar event
• Ensure effective and efficient delivery of training by assessing training needs, and tracking participation in training sessions
• Analyzing user satisfaction by gathering feedback and implementing a measurement process
• Maintain records on all session offerings, registrations, and attendance
• Coordinate the archiving of the webinars and ensure webinars are posted to website

Social Media Coordination
• Assist in the development and execution of an overall social media strategy for NCPC
• Create images and messages associated with promoting the webinars on Twitter and Facebook
• Research and post topics relevant to the NCPC focus area
• Use evidence-based methodologies and proven resources to insure validity of messages
• Develop innovative and creative media content across social media platforms
• Design theme-driven posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and promote engagement in connection with webinars
• Create and maintain relevant social media accounts for NPCP and all projects within NCPC
• Setup daily tasks and activity for all social media outlets
• Deliver monthly reports with statistics and results for each account
• Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
• Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
• Help facilitate online conversations and respond to queries where appropriate
• Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
• Seeks out partnerships with organizations for opportunities to cross promote in the digital community and expand NCPC’s reach.
Website Management
• Familiarity with Word Press
• Manage and update the content on National Center for Primary Care’s main website
• Run weekly updates
• Run Google Analytics report monthly
• Conduct literature researches for relevant articles to help keep site fresh

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Marketing, social media or relevant field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience overseeing webinars
• 2-3 years overseeing social media activities
• Experience working with WordPress
• Experience working in healthcare field or other social service area preferred
• Experience working with Adobe Premiere, Adobe Connect, and Go-To-Webinar
• Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
• Should have basic technical skills of managing a website
• Ability to quickly grasp complex subject matter
• Ability to work independently and on own initiative
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent technical skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
• Multitasking and analytical skills
• Expertise in multiple social media platforms
• In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
• Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
• Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
